Should I repair or replace an older air conditioner?
ENERGY STAR suggests considering a replacement once an air conditioner or heat pump is more than 10 years old, or when it needs frequent repairs and your energy bills are going up. We'll give you an estimate for both so you can decide.
How much does AC repair cost?
It depends on what's wrong. We diagnose, explain the details of what's needed, and provide an estimate prior to any repairs, so there are no surprises.
Can you add central air to a house with no ducts?
Yes, two ways: new ductwork, or a ductless mini split, which needs no ducts at all. We'll walk through both at the estimate.
When should I have my AC serviced?
In the spring. ENERGY STAR recommends checking the cooling system in the spring, before contractors get busy in summer. See tune-ups.
Do you install AC in new construction?
Yes. We do a lot of new construction, including work for contractors. See new construction.
