Registered within 60 days of installation, Trane covers parts for 10 years, and the compressor for up to 12 years on select air conditioners and heat pumps. Furnace heat exchangers are covered for 20 years. If it isn't registered in time, parts drop to 5 years.
Yes. Trane's most efficient heat pumps keep 70–82% of their heating capacity at 5°F, and its cold-climate model heats well below 0°F. Many homes pair a heat pump with a gas furnace that takes over on the coldest days. We'll recommend the right setup at the estimate.
