How it works
A heat pump for homes without ductwork. The outdoor unit connects to an indoor unit on the wall through refrigerant tubing and wiring that run through a small hole in the wall.

Cold-climate models do. Mitsubishi says its Hyper-Heat systems can deliver 100% of rated heating capacity at 5°F, with guaranteed operation down to -13°F. Some homeowners keep an existing boiler or furnace as a backup; Mass Save has a partial-home rebate for that setup.
In 2026, Mass Save offers rebates of up to $8,500 on qualifying heat pump systems and 0% HEAT Loan financing up to $25,000 with lender approval. The installer has to be in the Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Network, which we are. We'll confirm what applies to your home at the estimate.
When a Diamond Contractor installs a Mitsubishi system in a single-family home and it's registered within 90 days, the parts and compressor are warranted for 12 years each.
Yes. Have it serviced twice a year, before the heating and cooling seasons, and clean the filters when they look dirty or the filter light comes on. See tune-ups.
